What is a website template? - A website template is the coded HTML of the design layout, or shell, for your website store.  It includes associated banner, and/or footer, sidebar categories.  It is NOT your content; i.e., products and information relating to your individual store.  If you would like for us to provide your content, please indicate this.  Additional fees apply.  Our content addition fees are very reasonable and our style is professional and "magazine layout" in nature.
 
Your purchase of a Smacking Darcy website template does not include your domain or hosting fees.
 
What is OOAK? - OOAK stands for one-of-a-kind.  Our OOAK templates will only be sold once.  OOAK websites are not available for customization beyond addition of your company name, byline, link and category buttons.

How to begin:
 
Purchase your domain.  Your name should be unique, concise and easy to remember.  If your preferred name is taken, remember that you can use numbers and hyphens to get you close to the name that you want.  We recommend PappaShop for domain purchase and hosting.

 
Select hosting for your website.  Currently we partner PappaShop for website hosting/content management.  Pappashop is affordable, with a built-in, easy-to-use content management and cart system. Pappashop allows you to maintain your site without you needing to use HTML!  You can easily add products, update product inventory, offer products wholesale and much more.  Exciting additional pages come standard, such as a gallery, contact form, guest book and much more!


Sign up for a free Paypal account.  Paypal is a secure site that allows your customers to pay by credit card, bank transfer or from their checking or savings account.

If you are selecting a pre-designed OOAK template... Select and purchase a design from our Templates section. Once your check has cleared, or cart payment confirmation has been received by us, you will be contacted within 24 hours of your purchase.
